I'm afraid we know as much as you @danho811 so we can't say whether or not they will definitely call today.

I hope you can get through on your husbands phone soon, and get the information you're after :)

Who exactly said they wanted to speak with you?
So you don't think I'm making it up about a call I'm anxious enough that they haven't called yet so I shared pic ok with you
Where did I say you were making it up?

I was asking to clarify the situation.

Who told you it was to issue a payment?

That text just says to discuss your claim,

If there’s a payment they tend to just issue it and you receive it before the letter they don’t tend to call people often about payments.

Good afternoon @danho811. Have you got any updates yet? - for instance, have you been able to get through to them yet?

I am wishing you the best of luck with this. We are here for you if we can do anything to help or if you have any questions for us  :)

@MarkM88 they have started to call claimants who are due significant payments and have mental health condition

This is a safeguarding policy to ensure the claimant can manage the money or prefer it in instalments

This has been mentioned lots of times on various threads

    I am not wrong.

Can you please re-read what I said.

“If there’s a payment they tend to just issue it and you receive it before the letter they don’t tend to call people often about payments.”

I actually said they don’t tend to call people “often”, there was no mention of they never call.

Therefore where am I wrong? There was never a mention of they never call people, just that they don't do it very often, two different things.

As advised further up. Its 3 to 5 working days.

Monday to Tuesday - 1 working day.
Tuesday to Wednesday - 2 working days.
Wednesday to Monday - 3 working days.
Monday to Tuesday - 4 working days.
Tuesday to Wednesday - 5 working days.

You count working days, so therefore weekends and bank holidays don't count.

Earliest it will go in is Next Monday as that's 3 working days.

Earliest will be Wednesday because BACS payments take 3-5 working days as already advised.

By the way, PIP is paid 4 weekly not monthly, so it will always be the same day but different date every month with one month of each year where you will receive 2 payments.
