Completing two personal actions

I'd advise you to put everything away and do something else for the evening. There's really nothing more to add than has already been said. What does the actual descriptor mean? I’m totally confused by it’s meaning tbh.0

It means exactly what it say, which you did refer to earlier in this thread.Cannot, due to impaired mental function, reliably initiate or complete at least 2 sequential personal actions. This can be anything from planning, organising, prioritising, switching tasks etc etc. All things that can relate to mental health.0

I just don’t want to get into trouble. I don’t do anything by myself anymore. I don’t cook, clean, rarely self care. I’m working with a therapist to achieve it but I’m finding it hard.I just always worry I’m doing something wrong with these claims. It’s all been done in good faith but I can’t help but worry.I also read on benefitsandwork that they overlap and cross examine your claims. So for ESA and PIP etc.
is this true poppy?0 -

You should stop reading those threads on there because it’s not helping you.0 -
There’s a handbook there which states what can overlap with PIP. I had the link before but I’ve lost it now.I think I should have scored for ESA.
- Engagement in social contact with someone unfamiliar to the claimant is not possible for the majority of the time due to difficulty relating to others or significant distress experienced by the individual. 6 points
- Is unable to get to a specified place with which the claimant is familiar, without being accompanied by another person 9 points

As has been explained you have been found to meet the LCWRA/Support Group criteria - you don’t need to ‘score’ anything. You are going round in circles.0
-
But my condition isn’t even explained properly in the report. I trusted that it would be and that scoring would be fairly represented and it hasn’t been.Yeah I’m in the support group but if any slight change happens now they’ll have me over a barrel.0

I really don’t know what else to say because I think we have now covered everything there is to cover. All we are doing is going round in circles. As advised many many times, you were found to have LCWRA and it’s not about scoring points.
Therefore, no you wouldn’t have scored points in those areas.0 -

Again - this has nothing to do with scoring points. I’m out - going round in circles,0

So let me get this right. You don’t have to score 15 points to get into the support group?
So why on Earth have they wrote that on the letter they sent to me just recently?0 -
sierrafox said:So let me get this right. You don’t have to score 15 points to get into the support group? No, which has been advised several times. See link.Qualifying for the support group of employment and support allowance (ESA) is not about scoring points. Instead, if the decision maker accepts that any of the following descriptors apply to you, then you will be placed in the support group.sierrafox said:So why on Earth have they wrote that on the letter they sent to me just recently?
No idea.

Listen guys,
I’m sorry for sending you round in circles. Just remember your help is greatly appreciated. I consider myself an honest and a person of integrity and I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing all the time.I also realise sometimes all this plays into my conditions. I’m due an autism and ADHD referral too soon. Though that could take ages! (Especially the autism one)
I feel like I sometimes can’t get a grasp of how these things work.I just don’t want to be pocketing money I’m not entitled to etc. That and my current issues with my employer about capability dismissal are leaving me super frightened for the future.I keep thinking lose job, made an unintentional error on benefits and then end up in prison.0 -
sierrafox said:I just don’t want to be pocketing money I’m not entitled to etc.The reason you're claiming those benefits is because you're entitled to them.sierrafox said:made an unintentional error on benefits and then end up in prison.Always remember, that you don't have to be "bedridden to be entitled to benefits"Put all of your paperwork in a file, lock it in a cupboard and forget about it. Last but not least, please stop reading what you're reading on the internet.0

I just want to get better tbh but better might not be the same version as last time. The pandemic wiped my coping mechanisms. Now I’m stuck with panic, non-epileptic attack disorder, agoraphobia, severe depression, anxiety, PTSD (from childhood), OCD. I feel a walking mess. My Occupational Health assessor said to me: why do you want to know if you’re autistic or ADHD? I said because it would give my life meaning to a lifelong problem.I’ve always struggled! Severe anxiety has always been there. Though you don’t have to be autistic to have severe anxiety I guess.0 -
sierrafox said:My Occupational Health assessor said to me: why do you want to know if you’re autistic or ADHD? I said because it would give my life meaning to a lifelong problem.Yes, i completely understand that! It doesn't change anyone as a person but it will give you some answers to those questions you may have had for a very long time. (Been there and done that)I’ve always struggled! Severe anxiety has always been there. Though you don’t have to be autistic to have severe anxiety I guess.
No, you don't but anxiety often comes with Autism.0
