Good evening Lovely people!! I am hoping to connect with you here. I have spent the better part of 49 years trying to fit in and cope. in the past 3 years, I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lupus SLE, and Relative Polychthaemia, I am asking my GP about the ADHD, but have not had this sorted yet. I spent most of my teenage years trying to catch up with my peers and not understanding why I was failing. I then spent all my adult working life, failing at several jobs, and relationships, and currently going through medical redeployment due to severe fibromyalgia. I am hoping to find an escape to better understand my situation and any help to regain my employability and get assessed for ADHD? I emailed my GP twice as I promptly forgot to add the ADDitude questionnaire in my first email 64 of 72 Autism questions. it's only an indicator. I hope I can finally find a place to be and find respect and understanding. I hope I can connect with similar people my age and hope to gain some advice and help.

As you've mentioned wanting to help regain your employability, I'm also wondering whether you might like to access one of our employment services. Perhaps you could take a look and let us know what you think?1 -
Hi si i tried to speak to my GP about the quesitons of being possibly ADHD, but he came back saying i had to write in with all my reasoning as to why i felt i was and give him a reason. So i spoke to someone who is also ADHD and did the ADDitude questionaire and got 64 out of 72? So i sent this in and have had no reply. Any tips on how to really get the ball rollng on this?0
