I tried this but they just ignored my requests for a call back! X 😪janer1967 said:Just a tip if you haven't already when you put message on your journal are you flagging it as payment query as this should normally mean a decision maker or your case manager sees it
I know it's hard to contact them but try ringing when they first open and request a call from your case manager0 -
An MR for what? If you been allowed LCWRA why would they have finally done an MR? When you were awarded LCWRA did you get a letter like I did saying how much they would pay each month. I think my award letter was sent to me on Monday and by Thursday I received the backdated money. The complaint I raised took a couple of weeks and just had a letter the other day, they said they were investigating it. You could ring the complaints department as I did and ask what is happening. I rang them as they gave me a number to contact the person who was dealing with it and I got through straight away. I hope you find someone who will take full accountability for your case and that you finally resolve this circus act that they seem to performing. I am so sorry you are going through this I know it doesnt aid recovery just makes whatever condition you are suffering with worse. Keep us updated wont you? xxxnatdb said:Just an update I finally got through to UC through my journal after trying for weeks and they said they've done a MR for me, I also sent a complaint about having to wait 6 months for my first LCWRA payment 3 weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet, it's so frustrating 🤬

No I did a complaint, well 2 complaints one to my MP and one to them as firstly I had waited too long, around 8 months or so at that point. So they rushed my appointment through because of the complaint gave me £75 compensation, but then they cancelled on me twice, once they didn't even bother to tell me they cancelled on me, so that complaint ended in me being given an allotted time slot on a Friday by that time I had waited 10 months for an appointment, After my assessment on the Friday they made a decision on Monday and by the Thursday they had paid my back dated money, it was all very quick once they set the ball rolling in action.natdb said:

I must admit though along the way I have complained as they didn't even send me the form to claim for LCWRA for four months and then they kept pestering me with job interviews which I just didn't want, I wanted to be left in peace to recover. Now I don't have to bother with them until the next assessment and I am so thankful and grateful for the peace and to be able to concentrate on getting better.0 -
Oh shelbell that sounds horrendous! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, I hope they don't take that long that really is cruel, they just don't care do they? X X I am hoping my MR decision comes back soon, I pester them everyday, they are a joke! Thanks for your messages xxxx hope u are completely sorted out now X ❤️0
