Two ESA payments

in Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
Hi has anyone received two ESA payments in the same week? Because I received one on the 12th September and another on the 16th September both the same amount and I don’t know why

    Are both payments for your normal fortnightly amount?

    Possibly an error by DWP (perhaps because of the sudden payment changes they had to process due to the short notice of bank holiday on 19th September). All you can do is ring them on Tuesday to as them.

    Thank you I will ring them Tuesday and see what they say and I will leave it out my account

    I do struggle with phoning people but I got to if I want to know why I have received another esa payment.  As I don’t want to spend it and find out I got to pay it back

    Oh, I can hear you @wblackman84. The total dilemma between struggling with phone calls and knowing you need to do it anyway can be really tough!

    Does anything, in particular, help make phone calls more manageable for you? For me, it's making notes and doodling whilst on the phone.

    However, I know different things work best for different people. Wishing you all the best of luck  :)
