    @joyclyn I have heard of people getting it, particularly pensioners. Some local authorities have decided this is a good way of getting out funding (mine has not so I’m not 100%) but the positive is you are entitled to both :)

    As i advised it sounds like the council tax rebate but with extra on top (please read the link i posted). If you want extra reasurance then you will need to ring your local Authority to ask them.

    Yes that’s right we received £150 council tax rebate and £150 from the councils social fund plus today the COL £150 payment has gone in the bank !!
