How long does it normally take after a work capability assessment to hear back about the outcome?

You need to continue to send fit notes until a decision is made on your WCA. If there's any gaps in your fit notes then it can affect when the LCWRA element is paid from if placed into this group.

Nobody asked for anymore fit notes and no contact with work coach or jobcentre after ten weeks of waiting after wca0

I'm still waiting for my decision I had my assessment in December I keep asking on my journal but they say it's with the decision maker and can't give me a time frame0

For the work capability assessment decision once the report is returned it can be anything up to 12 weeks. However, if you have access to a journal then some have decisions within a week, others a few weeks and some several. It really depends on each individual case.gail57 said:
