PIP new claim

Hi all hoping you can help first time on here .applied for PIP very first time July 22,had assessment 2nd November, received confirmation from DWP saying they had received report and wait up to 8weeks for decision, I rang yesterday 16th November and requested copy of my assessment and got it this morning, I'm quite upset as I only scored 8 in the daily living and 10 in mobility section can I appeal this b4 a decision letter has been sent out ,because by the looks of it I will be refused PIP ,I'm so stressed with it all ,can anyone give me any help on this please

    The assessment report is only a recommendation. 
    If the decision maker goes with  the report 
    You will be awarded standard care and mobility.

    A recommendation if 8 daily living and 10 mobility would be standard for both parts. 
    You need at least 8 points for standard and at least 12 points for Enhanced.

    Thank you queen and poppy, I have never been so stressed in my life with the process, I'm just hoping they go with the assessor's report 🙏 it's only been 2weeks since they received it so go another agonising wait for decision. Many thanks for replying.

    Please don't stress too much, I claimed pip June 28th, had assessment 25th August
    Dwp got the report 26th August 
    And am still waiting for a decision from dwp.
    Hopefully I get the good news this week.
    So hang in there.

    Update ,I received another text yesterday and a letter today saying, we now have all the information we need to make a decision !! Is this normal?

    Update . I rang this morning and was told over the phone I was awarded PIP but can't tell me what so I'm sure DM has gone with assessors report of standard for both ( well I'm hoping) gentlemen said I can call back tomorrow to find out what level or wait for decision letter ,he did also say check your bank in 3 to 5 days as payment should go in before letter arrives .such a relief .and thanks to Poppy and Queen for keeping me informed of process x
