So my random question is: if I open a second bank account. Do I need to declare this to the benefits agency?

I want to keep my TSB account but I want a MonZo, as apparently it’s better for ADHD and spending.

As Linford as you don't want your benefits paying into the new account that is fine however if you are ever asked to provide statements you will need to show all bank account statements

No.  You can open as many accounts as you like.

Only need to tell them if you want benefit payments made to a different account.
