Hi, I haven’t had my PIP today either. It’s always in by 1am. Has anyone had theirs yet? Thanks.0

Not good. Hope it’s sorted out asap. It has only happened once before but it was because of the Queen’s funeral. They did issue a statement online saying it would be late then. But I can’t find anything today. Let’s hope we all get it today. Fingers crossed 🤞rosemere26 said:Carlz said:Hi, I haven’t had my PIP today either. It’s always in by 1am. Has anyone had theirs yet? You need to give them time to start the day and discover what has happened and how to resolve b4 they issue statements
No doubt they will be extremely busy dealing with all the calls today1 -
Yeah I’m not ringing them yet. I got a late payment before but it did hit my bank about midday. No doubt it will be a system error.0

Just spoke to pip. They admit there is a problem with the banks, either theirs or ours or both.
They've took my number and said they will call me back as soon as they have a resolution.
Staff are just learning about this now at 9am when the lines opened although you'd think they'd have known before tbh.
Keep u updated when I know2 -
Thanks for that. Hopefully it will be resolved soon 🤞.Xtiano_sickboy said:Just spoke to pip. They admit there is a problem with the banks, either theirs or ours or both.

I’m really not sure what we can do tbh. I’m not very good at communicating on the phone. I guess we just have to wait for now sadly. It has really messed me up financially. But I do have my family to lean on, but I hate having to do that.balooga77 said:They would have sent it last weeks so really they would have known last week that today was coming and all of us wouldnt have been paid, I wonder if we can complain1 -
I don't see why we would expect staff to be aware before they got into work. Most staff have nothing to do with making payments and those that are probably aren't the ones who answer the phones.Xtiano_sickboy said:Staff are just learning about this now at 9am when the lines opened although you'd think they'd have known before tbh.1 -
Just got called back from Linda at pip to say payments will be paid anytime from now till midnight but most likely sooner not later. If I'm honest I felt sorry for her. I've a customer service background and to have a few thousand angry worried desperate people all calling at 9am Monday demanding answers is tough, especially when staff knew nothing about it.Carlz said:

Thanks for the update. Yes I used to work for benefits and I couldn’t get enough done for the amount of phone calls. I got a lot of angry people calling. That’s why I didn’t want to ring up if others had. Thank you again.Xtiano_sickboy said:

This is a major mess up, can't imagine how people with no money are coping1

I spent an hour and a half on hold on Friday about this as I am
a monzo user too. He put the phone down on me and I got a automated message to say the lines were now closed it was only 5.30ish1 -
Technology isn’t perfect, nothing is. Errors can happen and when they do it’s beyond everyone’s control. The good thing is they know about it and it’s being dealt with.balooga77 said:I dont understand how in this day and age with technology advancing, that this can happen1
