Pip text saying they haven't yet made a decision. Anyone else had this?

    Yes I really am but think I will need to appeal as advised by my neuro team.  It looks like I have been awarded enhanced mobility but not living. I can not use a bath without equipment the same in the kitchen. I am so appreciative of the PIP and support here as will make a difference. So will wait to get report and assessment then take it from there

    Good morning everybody , I am new to that forum.
    i have a question - Yesterday,  I received the text that they haven’t made a decision yet. 
    If the decision is  negative are they still sending messages? 
    What time usually they are sending text messages?

    @Sonya35 No that text message is not positive or negative, it simply means what it says. A decision should be made within 2-12 weeks.

    One more question if they made a decision and if the decision is negative, are they still sending the text message?

    2-12 weeks from the day of your assessment?

    If successfully awarded and it's a first time claim and you haven't transferred from DLA then usually money is received in your bank before the decision letter.
    I'm not aware of them sending texts if you've been refused. If awarded then yes they usually send a text.

    Yes, that’s my 1st time claim. I received text yesterday(12/12/22) from them - we have not yet made a decision on your PIP claim. 
    Hopefully everything will be fine.

    Today (14/12/2022) I received message We awarded you PIP. 
    I am so happy. 
    Now I am just waiting for the letter.

    If you phone up the automated service will tell you your award and when you’ll be paid saves you waiting for the letter
