Pip text saying they haven't yet made a decision. Anyone else had this?

This thread has been very reassuring...
I had my phone assessment on 24th of November.
I got the text to say they received the report on Friday 2nd of December (~ a week later)
Then 2 weeks later , yesterday , Friday the 16th of December I get the text saying they have not yet made a decision...
Feels like this should be a good sign though? Like it wouldn't of gotten this far if was gonna be a no...right?
It's my first time applying so all a bit confusing.
Ahh soo stressful! Lol
I really hope I get an answer as quick as some of the other users here, would really give me a lot of peace of mind1 -

All the texts including the last one are all standard and are sent to everyone that gives a mobilie number, regardless of whether the claim is successful or not.

Hey thanks for the replies everyone! Been a big help!
So i got the "no decision yet" text Friday afternoon , and then today first thing Monday morning I got the "You have been awarded PIP" text , whoohoo!!
Just hoping I get something in my account before xmas as it'd make a huge difference this year, fingers crossed folks!3 -
Kez25 said:@Szoszon that's fantastic news!!!! Well done 😁Can I just ask what time did you have a text on Friday?
I double checked and both texts were a few minutes after 8am. Like 8:04 and 08:15.
If and hopefully when you get your award text , you can ring the PIP phone number (if you scroll up a few comments another user has helpfully shared the phone and textphone number, it'll tell you when your next payment is going to be and when it's going to be, but there could be an error as it told me my next payment was due in July but Is stayed on the phone until I got put through to a nice helpful human being.
(After maybe 15 mins on hold but I don't mind it's cool)
He told me everything would be explained better and broken down a lot more clearly in the letter.
But he told me my back pay will be paid this Thursday. Feeling very happy.
Told me the rate I'm on which is standard rate of (I think) £247 per month.
So breaking it down again.
Assessment - 24th November"No decision yet" text - 16th December (Friday )
"You have been awarded PIP" - 19th December (Monday 8:15 am)
Backdate Pay Due - 22nd December (Thursday)
First Monthly Payment - 7th January
Might be different time frames for different people but I hope this helps some people relax a little bit at least cause this whole waiting around business had me worn out lol 😂2 -
Soooo I just received a call from the Decision maker . Wanted to confirm a few details and then said she has awarded me PIP with standard for both. With back pay due in 3-5 days. The weight has been lifted and feel relieved knowing the process is all over with.Thankyou for you support .Wishing you a very Merry Xmas and a happy new year. X2

I just received the “We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can……” text
after reading this thread I’m pretty worried that this is a bad omen as they only confirmed they had my pip review forms in early October (I’ve read that reviews are taking up to 12 months to complete and my current award doesn’t end till the end of July 2023 so I was expecting radio silence for a good while longer) - going by other fonts soon after receiving this text they get a text with a decision
every time I’ve gotten a fast decision my awards been downgraded and in all honestly I’d be shocked if I manage to bypass an face2face/phone assessment so now my ocd is fearing the worst and they may be failing me
is everyone getting this text regardless of how long they’ve waited or/and are the dwp possibly making a lot of bulk decisions to help clear the backlog?
(I thought dwp staff were striking for a fortnight? soon so things would get further delayed)0 -
“We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can……”
It means what it says. You can't infer anything from that other than that they haven't progressed it.1 -
I know that these texts are automated and sent out a standard
thats what I thought before looking into it on this and other forums
It seems like a lot of people have received this exact text this December and many of those received a decision text very soon afterwards
I haven’t read a failed decision text yet which makes me wonder if you don’t get a decision text within a fortnight of this automated text you’ve failed the review and have to wait for the letter to make it official
Has anyone received the automated “we are still processing your claim” text at the start of December or earlier and haven’t received a further text or letter yet?
im so upset - it’s Xmas and now I can’t even enjoy it because of this (doubt I’ll get a decision before now)…….and yes I know I’m over panicking but when your ‘livelihood’ is on the line your brain short circuits (others on this forum must know what I’m talking about)0 -
@apple85 most people have assessments for reviews so it’s likely you’ll have one of those before a decision is made. It’s a standard text you received and doesn’t mean anything other than what it says. You cant go by anyone else because everyone’s process could be different.
There’s nothing more you can do but wait.2 -
Had my no decision text Wednesday only noticed it at 7am this morning, nobody ever texts me as they know i dont ever reply.0

Did the text actually say you've been refused? You can challenge that decision by first requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) within 1 month of the date of the decision. You should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points.0
