    Finally got through surprise surprise no appts but took derails and noted as urgent sent pic and receptionist going to call me back

    Hi @Ada yes that makes sense. PS I do see your mornings I just don’t always reply to every post people make, I will try to reply more to you if you want me to :)

    @Community_Scope I explicitly said my post wasn’t advice and not to treat it as advice so I don’t know why it was removed. Presumably whoever reported it didn’t read it properly, that said I have too many issues at the moment to care about something so trivial so won’t be arguing about the matter any further

    @Ada yes been quite upset at the moment by goings on in the family, thank you for asking. I think maybe you would be able to relate though I know you had it far worse. I will share in due course but trying to compose a decent post about it to write on here. Thanks for caring :)

    @Teigr yes I am the same with anything like an email or text message. I tend to start in the middle then edit in the start and end later on. But sometimes it gets muddled up and I end up sending someone a load of gibberish :D

    Afternoon. Hope the weather isn’t too harsh for you, I have been on holiday since Thursday and returning this Thursday so I’m really hoping I bring the Lanzarote temperatures with me. Nothing worse going from heat to cold. Sorry if I have missed some comments.

    Great to hear an appointment is sorted for you @janer1967, I do sympathise with receptionists in GP surgeries on a Monday which is by far the busiest of the week.

    Nice to see you @bg844, just yesterday I was wondering where you were as not seen you for a few days. I hope you’re having a nice time. The worst bit is getting out of the plane when you land back in the UK!! Thanks for the kind words. It’s not me that’s moved house - it’s my Granny who has moved from London to be closer to us. She’s settling in slowly but well if that makes sense! Things take her time that most people would get done quickly but I can see an improvement in her. :)

    I'm in touch with someone who's very down at the moment and I have to think so hard about what to say to her,it takes me ages to formulate a response.

    @Teigr I can understand that - not wanting to say anything to make them worse so it is a bit like treading on egg shells. (Not sure how that saying came about.)

    I have respect for therapists and other professions who have to immediately know what to say when face-to-face with to people who are going through a hard time.
