    That's another problem here,none of the pharmacies can keep  staff so they're hardly ever open.

    With my chemist they don't seem to have any set routine that works for them or us. It's a complete shambles.  When it's mega busy they'll have a few staff on shop shelves, instead of serving leaving 1 person to serve and sort out meds, so the que is out the door. It's just caios with meds everywhere on shelves, that no one can find, with out searching through it all.

    No problems with my pharmacy touch wood. Well one issue is that they have run out my normal form of medication but they won't give me the substitute without a doctor but it's the exact same medication. Just in a different form.

    @Teigr

    Was yours bad before lockdown? I notice you say it's been like it for years but then I suppose lockdown is almost 3 years ago now.

    I guess prescriptions are one area where our system is is good. When our prescriptions expire and a medicine review is needed (usually after 6 months), there obviously aren't any appointments available, so they automatically renew.

    That said even that is perhaps a bit dangerous as some people might be getting medicines they no longer need.
    Afternoon - funny you mention prescription review Mustang - i am supposed to be having one today, over the phone via clinical phamicey (spelt that wrong ha ha) had a thing come on my phone to book one - lets see if i get that phone call x

    Good afternoon all you lovely people, hope your all well and keeping warm.
    Very busy chats on here today, can't mention all ha ha.
    Sorry @bg844 forgot you were away - i'd stay there if you can ha ha x
    @66Mustang your chats made me smile to myself - i am the worlds worst for saying/writing/ to quick and i know people can get the wrong idea with my texting, the lads can think i'm in a mood, when i'm not ha ha, i have to try and remember to read before i send, and as for waffling on i'm the worlds worst even hubby says for god's sake cut to the chase ha ha - but hey ho its me and my faults, people that know me, know what i'm like, saying that i hope i haven't upset anyone on here.x
    Will be waiting to hear from you @janer1967 x

    There's a chemist in the same building as the surgery here @Ada,most patients go there now because if they get it wrong you don't have to walk more than four yards to complain.

    I'm impressed, first time i have had one of these type of medical reviews, she was talking a lot about my stenosis and coming of the Duluxotine - when i told her what the locum said about my side affects after i come of she wanted me to speak to one of the doctors, Doctor has just phoned me with some very constructive help, another drug for me to have a look into and see if i want to try it. So i have finally had a good Doctors experience x

    @SueHeath  that's great news :)

    I don't mean to give the health service discredit where not due.

    In truth, I almost always have a good experience when I see the doctor.

    It's just impossible to get to see him! :D

    I know exactly what you mean Mustang - this is the best experience i have had with our Doctors since the start of Covid, usually have to speak to a locum and not one of our Doctors x
