Phone call asking me some questions following a mandatory reconsideration. What does it mean?

    I had my phone call last Friday and still nothing . 
    How long did it take from your phonecall until your payment .

    Hi,

    Erm I think it was about 5 weeks if I remember. I got the money before I received the letter.

    It might be longer than 7/8 weeks because of the time of year. I got mine in April. Good luck!
    They ask these questions because the whole time you have been in hospital or prison the amount back dated will not be the same because any time spent in these institutions the government are paying for you already , so they then deduct any amount of what they owe x

    That's not quite correct. For time in hospital it's 28 days, the day you go in and come home are not counted. If you then go back into hospital within 28 days they will be classed as linking days and will be added to the days you were previously in hospital.
