@DollyDolly29,it's better to be prepared to wait than to expect a decision soon. I thought I wouldn't wait long ,and it's been 9 weeks and I am still waiting for a decision 🙈1

As advised yesterday, it could be anything up to 12 weeks. Some wait less, others wait more. They tell everyone 8 weeks. Once a decision is made you will be contacted.

Update - still waiting0

It's not been that long since your assessment and with a bank holiday already since then and another this weekend, that will only add to the delay. Try to focus on something else while you wait.

Had a letter on Wednesday to say that they’ve got my pip information and that I’ll hear something shortly , has anyone had this beforepoppy123456 said:It's not been that long since your assessment and with a bank holiday already since then and another this weekend, that will only add to the delay. Do you mean the letter said they have all the information they need to make a decision? If so then yes that’s a standard letter sent to everyone.DollyDolly29 said:

Good luck @DollyDolly29 and the waiting can be bad especially if you suffer anxiety,I know I was the same, try and keep occupied (hard I know)
Anyway good luck and fingers crossed you hear some good news soon 👍😊0 -

I’m Very stressed and anexity through the roof.
and if I get mobility would I be able to get a car and still be awarded pip money? Or do you need to either pick mobility car or pip money or can you get both. I always wondered this
many thanks

For a Motability car you require enhanced rate mobility, this will be deducted from your PIP. Daily living remains separate regardless of rate.DollyDolly29 said:I’m Very stressed and anexity through the roof.

I do like gardening and things like that but my hands are ever so sore due to arthritis in all my thumbs ect. my anexity and depression is through the roof waiting it’s so horrible I do not like being held in limbo… I rang them 1-2 weeks ago and they said it wouldn’t be long .. 😞Hannah_Scope said:0 -
@DollyDolly29 You've inspired me to create a new thread that I'd love to hear your thoughts on!
Can I ask, do you get support for your anxiety and depression?0
