Hope title says it all.  But i recently arranged a home visit by a local adult services team for a physio. i received a letter with a date and rough time i waited and waited on the said day and no visit so i have waited 2 weeks for a explanation with no communication i phoned and was told i should have gone to clinic and the letter she could see but the wrong letter had been sent .we patients are always been told about missed appointments and risk losing the service. i feel like i have been treated like a 2nd class patient and sorry for venting my wrath folks. but should i persue to make sure i not down as a appointment dodger.

    Hello @chattymossman

I'm sorry that happened, I can imagine it created a lot of stress. Vent away. I love the NHS but have also had issues with communications. I would say it wouldn't hurt to email or call the local adult services and explain what happened to them. They may have a point of contact with the physio department that could be more helpful in getting everything sorted.

NHS communications have been terrible this year. I would follow up because it is hard enough to get an appointment when you need one without mistakes from their end.

If we don't say anything at all things won't improve because the relevant people won't know.

I did notify the relevant department and lots explanations of glitch in the system and sorry for the confusion and had 2 visits since so some good has happened but i understand how stretched the NHS is today.
