Oh that’s a shame to not have TV because it can be a nice distraction. Messaging is a good distraction too though. Or perhaps some sort of game on your phone or whichever device you use? I like researching random things and reading articles about stuff just for fun.
It must be a tough adjustment going from working to not being able to. Did you used to enjoy the work you were in before?

yes it’s tough and sometimes i was thinking maybe i have chAD because from being extremely busy at work to end up like below zero.

I know so many Polish community organisations and could share the links with you?Do you have a polish church or polish cultural Centre in your area?Any Polish shops ? The shops distribute free polish magazines and on the last pages are lists of all organisations registered within UK.?Which city in Poland did you born ? Maybe there is organisation which help with relocation from UK to Poland? Perhaps maybe you would be able apply in Poland for communal social housing there too ?0

Thank you, that is kind of you to say. I did enjoy my visit to my new home today, although I was scared first, it was nice and everyone was kind and welcoming. My bedroom is beautiful.
You have friends on here always you can talk to when you are having a rough time. I’m sorry about the situation with your mum. I am very lucky having parents that are very involved in my life so it makes me sad to think of someone not having that. However perhaps it’s for the best that you can’t go to your mum in Poland right now if that’s her attitude. If she isn’t supportive of you then I expect living with someone who does it grudgingly would not be helpful at all.
That sounded good advice to try and reach out to Polish people in your local community or indeed other local people. I know you find it hard to get out but sometimes there are local befriending services that can help people get started or the social prescribers at the GP will sometimes accompany people to clubs the first few times.
It’s ok to not use Facebook but you use this forum which is a great start. Perhaps you can look in to other online interest groups. There are all sorts of online video meet ups that happen.
I don’t know if you are religious but if so then often faith communities are very supportive of each other.
Perhaps try something small like going to the library and choosing a book. Ask the librarian to help you choose. Ask them about activities that may happen there.
Or go for a brief walk or sit outside and enjoy nature. Try out just saying hello to someone. Sometimes speaking to a stranger, just passing the time of day can be uplifting and confidence building.
How’s everything going with benefits? Are you awaiting to hear back from an assessment for UC or PIP? I can’t remember where you were at with all that.
Did you go ahead and ask for a care needs assessment?

I would also encourage you to go back to your GP about your anxiety and depression. Although the sessions seemed short for you, you can go to them again if you feel they would be beneficial. You can even refer yourself for talking therapies.0 -

i was getting help to pay energy im not able to read meters myself i don’t know how can i pay energy without financial help like was before from government i have only uc im not able to cook im really sorry to write here but im not coping with the noise here0

I know it’s not ideal because you do want the noise to actually stop or to move so you are away from the noise, but in the meantime I do recommend earplugs. There are some really good ones out there of different brands. I personally have loop ear plugs and they are really good. Gives me peace when people are being noisy around me.0

Energy bills will be much cheaper now it's summer. With the heat lately, i wouldn't expect anyone to need any heating on. My gas bill for the past month was just £15.I will agree with the advice for the ear plugs. Sometimes at night when i hear noises from next door or there's high winds keeping me awake i'll use my ear plugs.. perfect solution for a peaceful night.0

im sorry im not able to cook at all
they do charge me estimated bills as im not able to read meters it’s about 66£ monthly i have only uc
my bed is next to the wall and the communal stairs
there is carpark downstairs it’s really noisy i don’t know why i didn’t loose my mind here yet

I realise it's noisy where you live because you've mentioned that a lot. However, i don't know what else you can do other than to move to somewhere different. I know that won't be easy but you have to try to help yourself by reaching out for help. There's only so much that people can do on an internet forum.What about the needs assessment? I know you rang them but what about filling out the form through the links you were given many times.0

when i moved here ( i was going outside then , now im just staying indoors) i went to emergency at the hospital because was very noisy and i used earplugs and couldn’t take them out from my ears the doctor said that i should be careful and i did not lose my hearing0

In which case I would recommend ear defenders instead that go over your head like the builders wear. That way they can’t get stuck. Not everyone likes wearing them because they are conspicuous but for around the house in the daytime it’s something to consider. Not so comfortable for sleeping in unfortunately. I happily wear mine even outside because if I go somewhere super noisy they work even better than the loop ear plugs. If you have some of those big ear defenders on you are very unlikely to hear the annoying neighbours.
When you mentioned your bed being against the wall that is next to the communal stairs, is that where a lot of noise happens? If so is there the possibility to move your bed to the other wall?0 -

im crying because i found that in the package from pharmacy i got another blister of antidepressants instead of sleeping tablets and i cannot sleep at all0

Oh dear was that a mistake in your medication from the pharmacy or has your GP switched you from sleeping tablets to antidepressants without you realising? If they have then perhaps ask to speak to your GP because they might be able to make a more gradual switch if they are changing your medications.0
