hi im karen ive got multiple sclerosis and been on uc 3 years now received a letter off them asking me to fill in a booklet which was sent off to assessment centre not heard anything yet but anyone know whats it for tia

It would have been the UC50 form for the work capability assessment. If found to have LCWRA you will be entitled to extra money from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. Providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made on your claim.

You will likely need an assessment because most people have them. They are mostly done by telephone but some are face to face or video call.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

its 3 years since started UC dont send fit notes think they forgot about about me

@25764 I had to fill out forms during covid and was awarded LCWRA. I remember it being a struggle. If you need support, you can always call Scope's Helpline or Citizen's Advice have some great information pages that would be useful to read Hannah - She / Her
