Hi, I was just wondering, how does one email the British pension department. I’m in South Africa and do not have a landline, I’d like to ask about the proof of life document, our postal system is practically non existent and I’d like to find out if they could email me the document.

Hello @kostermar
Welcome to the community!
There is a GOV webpage on contacting the Pension Service. You can claim online, as well as by phone or post. If you wanted to ask a few questions, I believe contacting by phone or post is the only way. The only other way I can suggest is using the HMRC online chat? They may be able to advise further.0 -

@calcotti Aaah ok, It says to contact them if OP was going to return to the UK so thought it may be a place to ask them as there was no other way other than phone or post.

That’s the link to have a ‘chat’ with HMRC, it doesn’t provide any information. I assumed you were referring in your previous post to a link that said something about contacting HMRC and pensions and coming from abroad.0
