Hi am in support group of ESA an have been since 2016 after an assessment an an then a paper based assessment keeping me in the ESA support group. However I was told few months back that my ESA would send out a review letter or assessment questionnaire again before October as it expires on 24th Oct still I've heard nothing an wondering if they have just extended it again for so long or the max 3 years. I don't want to ring them either incase this triggers something

Support Group doesn't expire, it's an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. Work capability assessments are still suspended for most people so it's very unlikely you will receive the form anytime soon. When they do start back there will be delays because of backlogs.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Oh I thought with the call centre saying on my record it has a date of Oct that they would send a assessment letter out

No, that's not what it means. The timescale is just a guide and nothing more. This is one of the reasons why timescales are never given on decision letters. I've been claiming ESA for 10 years and have never rang them to ask a timescale.
