The PIP process

Good morning all,

Just wanted to share my experience of the PIP application process with you all.
Based on comments I’ve read here and on line it would seem that my application has been relatively problem free and fairly quick compared to some others I’ve read.
I have severe arthritis in both hips and have very limited mobility, I first applied for PIP at the beginning of August this year and have just received a text notification regarding my award.
obviously at this point I’m awaiting the letter to confirm which award I’ve received but am grateful that it seemed to come through quicker than many other people.

is this an average case or have I been extremely lucky?

    Heya @highlander747, that's great news and thank you for sharing.  I hope you get the award you were hoping for. :)

    It does seem fairly swift, but hopefully that means they're getting through the backlog now and others will receive support quicker too.
