Hi Sheena,
I have a friend who's also looking for funding for an alert watch.
These epilepsy charities might be able to give you more advice...
https://www.epilepsysociety.org.uk/ Helpline number: 01494 601 400 or https://www.epilepsy.org.uk/ Epilepsy Action Helpline: 0808 800 5050
http://www.hospitalsaturdayfund.org/ give grants for medical equipment - I don't know if that includes alert watches.
Wishing you and your son the best.

Have you thought about referring yourself to the aids and equipment department of social services? They may be able to provide one free of charge? I'm not sure if you would be eligible or not but could be worth a try. There may be other equipment they could suggest that will help too.
