    I don't think we've had a whole twenty four hours without rain this month,I could grow rice on our bottom lawn.

    We have just been for a dog walk, I tested out my new rain coat that I got for Christmas.

    @Ada it's really nice thanks for asking, I get really hot even in winter because of medication I take so I wanted a thin coat that protects from the rain but not too warm, it's perfect :smiley:

    My parents are going to a garden centre now and I offered to drive as it gets me out and might find some Christmas food going cheap.

    I'll start taking our decorations down on the 2nd @Sandy_123,I hate how bare and miserable the house looks without them.

    I don't like to leave the Christmas decorations up too long after New Year either, but the house does look so strange without them.

    Hope your headache feels better soon @Ada, take it easy. It would have been nice of them to give you something for looking after their dogs, it's a shame that they didn't after what seems like quite an extravagant holiday for them.

    Afternoon everyone I hope yous are keeping warm. My daughter popped in so we went up to see my mum. The rain has washed the snow away now, but it’s really cold.

    I know you say you don’t mind and you enjoy looking after the dogs, but personally I think they are so wrong not to pay you for having them.

    i have skipped my medication for the past few weeks as i want to enjoy time with my kids without medication side effects
