I have a split lip today and also I have this awful habit of rubbing my tongue on my teeth and my tongue has a cut in it. My own fault but I can't enjoy hot drinks at the moment.

The cold weather can really dry out your lips, it's an issue I have to deal with. Try to use lip balm when I can.2

He's in the garden now,cutting what looks like a piece of skirting board.
I'm afraid to ask him what he's up to.1 -
He was probably cutting it for firewood,no idea what the tape measure was for.
