Good luck @Darryl1854, I hope everything goes okay today.1 -

@66Mustang
That was good you got back to sleep, as you’re always an early riser.
@Ada
I hope you’re feeling ok and not in to much pain.
@Darryl1854
Hi I hope once your out your anxiety goes away or at least reduces.
@Beaver79
Hiya I find January can be a long dreary month.

@Ada
Oh that’s a shame on top of everything else, as suggested take it easy and keep warm, and plenty of hot drinks. 😘
@66Mustang
Oh it totally agree with you, it feels like ages ago since New Year’s Day.

Take care @Ada, if you do need help you can always email or message us. There is Scope Energy Support if the bills are just too much, and we can signpost you other support too.1

Christmas and New Years really messes up my routine. Routine is one of the things I struggle most with my ADHD It's been so hard to get back into the good routine I had finally achieved pre-Christmas.1
-
@Jimm_Scope do you struggle in that you prefer routine or that you find routine hard?
I have autism and am “supposed” to like a routine but given the choice I much prefer to mix things up.1 -
We are off to the shops now. I will be back later2
-
I find routine very hard to create and maintain. It's very beneficial to me to have a routine, it helps me remember things to do and actually get them done. But creating one is difficult, maintaining is slightly less difficult unless it gets disrupted like over Christmas! Then it is like I'm recreating it.
Enjoy the shops! I had to pop to the local small shop early this morning because we ran out of oat milk... I'm not a fan of coffee without milk.1 -
Anxiety stopping me from getting up n going to the shops...1
-
Sorry to hear that @Autism_at_40 Is there anyone who can help you get things from the shops if it's urgent?1
-
@Jimm_Scope
Nope, I live alone, no friends or family.
I was going to get stuff in before the weather gets worse as my fridge is empty, cupboards bare. But, I've not had enough sleep to cope with people and so I think I'll try an online order.1 -
Yeah, I was next gonna recommend an online order. I know if you order enough delivery can be free for some places.
Is there also a group for helping deliver food to those less able to get to the shops? I know that was very common during covid, but many of them stopped after lockdowns ended. I wonder if some kept going though.1 -
I dont know.
I do have a support worker starting monday but of course I dont know her yet. She may well be able to help me with this.
Thanks1 -
I'm back from the shops.
I hope everyone behaved while I was away.2 -
Oh, good luck with that @Autism_at_40! I really hope it helps, I know people who's lives have been really improved by having a support worker. It's not always perfect, but it can be very beneficial2

Crikey @teigr do they still do those. It's a good way to cut the cost. @Autism_at_40 hope you manage to get some shopping2
