PIP Award - Confused 😕

I recently submitting a change of circumstances form, and had a telephone assessment. Today I receive this text:
“Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call before you get the letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision. Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change.”
I rang the DWP line to see what my next amount of payment will be via their automated system. Here’s the thing, it is exactly the same as before which makes no sense as according to the HCP report that I requested a copy of, I was awarded more points which equated to an higher award.

Have a ring to early as my next payment is literally tomorrow? Or have the decision maker at DWP decided my award is to stay the same?
I hate the anxiety over this.

It could be one of a few things.. your payment tomorrow is for your previous award because payment was sent after the decision was made so there wasn't time to increase your payment this time.
The information on the payment line is incorrect, as it has been known to give incorrect information. Or they went against the report and your award has remained the same.
Either way, it's all guess work, you can either ring them to ask what the award is or wait until you receive the decision letter. Just because the text advises you not to ring, it doesn't mean you can't.1 -

They did tell me the decision over the phone, even though the text message states they won’t. They have actually gone against the assessor and awarded me less of an award. I am not sure how they go against the assessor either.0

I'm sorry to hear that. Though it's rare for them to go against it, it does happen. Has your award remained the same as before?0

Less. So, I have no choice but to go for a Mandatory Reconsideration. How unusal and unlucky.0

I normally get paid tomorrow, and it should be showing in my online account as a pending payment as it would usually but it’s not showing anyway. So much for continuing to receive payments. I don’t even have the lesser amount as per decision going into the account as a pending payment.0

Can I ask how long you waited for assessment appointment. The assessors have had my form for a few weeks now and still no sign of an appointment0

@Lolli2724 I waited maybe 2/3 months for the assessment after submitted forms.0

How do you get through to the automated payment line I’ve tried all the options people have said and it just puts me on hold for a advisor 🤔0
