Son with cerebral palsy needs help to cope with academic needs

Good morning all,
This is Mrs.Adedeji Bolanle from Nigeria , I have a son named Daniel and he is 18 years old who is cerebral palsy. He is presently in Somerset,UK . He is in mark college for he secondary school education.He has completed year 11 and currently doing A level but we need help to be able to cope with academic needs.

Daniel might be able to get an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) from his local authority. (They are the new version of a Statement of Educational Needs). An EHCP is a document that details what support is required and commits the school, healthcare professionals and social care team to providing it. There's help available to get an EHCP from a service called Independent Support - the Council for Disabled Children website will be able to tell you who the Independent Support provider is in his area.
