    Yes @poppy123456 I read it but it doesn’t say anything that applies to me,my original claim ended December 2023,I made an error claim February 2024,A reclaim march 2024 and because of the error claim LCWRA is cancelled out according to UC.I think I’ll just give up and live as I’ve always done on minimal ,I can’t keep back and forth with people who are hellbent on trying to get the elderly to look after the young ones,I’m only 11 months from pension anyway.I’ve challenged this in my journal and I’ll wait and see,have a great evening.

    I was assessed in Feb 2024. Awarded LCWRA in March 2024. Then, apparently, I asked for my UC claim to be closed in April 2024.

    When I saw that my claim was closed, I immediately claimed again. Incredibly, it showed as a new claim and not a reclaim. Also, the Assessment Period dates had changed. This was claimed in under a day using the same login details.

    MR changed decision on UC closure. But LCWRA not reinstated. Gone to Tribunal.

    Spike1776, I suggest this. Ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration. Then, if the MR decision is not in your favour, take it to Tribunal.

    Just an update on my situation after I calmed down and collected my thoughts I went through the WCA process as advised by work coach,first fit note 12th April had a WCA on the 11th June today 26th June I was found to have LCWRA ,although it’s been a stressful couple of months I think I was fortunate to have a decent work coach who got the ball rolling quickly,only two months from start to finish WCA process so thats good although as we both agreed back in March my LCWRA should’ve continued anyway.im just happy now it’s all over and all good in my favour,I just have one question for you,my assessment for UC is 7th to 6th each month my first fit not 12th April no gaps,am I right in thinking my first LCWRA payment will be September and no back payment? Thanks for your time.

    That’s great news! Waiting period will be May to August.. LCWRA starts from 7th Aug to 6th Sept and first payment 12th September. No money is owed.

    I’ve just remembered something my WCA was a referral by UC on the 19th of April my first fit note was on the 12 April and the decision that a have LCWRA was made on the 26th June does the fact that it was a referral change when I should receive a payment? Thanks .

    You did say in a previous comment your first fit note was 12th April so the date of first payment hasn't changed.

    You're welcome. It's the date you provided your first fit note that counts. Not the date you're referred.
