Qualifications in Speech and Language courses?
Options
i am 48 years old and i already work in a primary school and have a Welfare Assistant job. i have been volunteering in schools for about 4 years whilst gaining my G.C.S.E Maths,English, TA Level 2 and 3 qualifications, (which is not easy at my age, believe me). i feel a qualification in Speech and Language would really enhance my confidence with supporting the children in there language and communication. I would be really grateful if anybody could suggest if there are any free courses available to me.
Many Thanks

Hi, Welcome to the community. You are so great full for educating yourself and still being motivated well to go father away.
I just wander if your job place could you not to sign you for one of the courses (even paid) if you would talk to your HEAD of school. Investing in employer is essential these days.
I cannot help more than that with my advice.
Perhaps some within community will gave you more advice.
Have a good evening.

Hi @rabbit25 welcome to the community and congratulations on your achievements!
I agree with @iza that speaking to your employer would be a great first step.
The Open University do lots of free courses, you can take a look here and click on the Education and Development tab.
