Unless you're currently claiming Tax Credits then you won't be migrated across to UC until at least 2028, unless a change of circumstances prompts a move in the meantime.
Although if your ESA is either the old contributions based or New style then you won't migration across because both are not part of UC.0 -
Can anyone shed any light on this new idea of scrapping pip for talk therapy. What is this proposal by the prime minister and when does it plan to go ahead. I'm very worried and anxious and my health isn't good at the best of times and this has triggered my anxiety levels sky high. Can anyone advise.0

Ok poppy thankyou, my daughter get universal credit but its gone down but topped up with the carers allowance. So how will that work, don't these government who trying to get rid of the pip realise the impact on carers allowance and the care which we so desperately need. But thankyou poppy0

As for your other question on carers allowance, there's no changes been made to PIP yet and everything remains as it is until those changes happen BUT they may never happen.0 -
Can anyone tell me what's the new workwell project that's about to be rolled out in October. I thought these changes were not going to take place til after the general election. I try my best not to get worked up but every other day there is no something new and now this workwell project, people with bpd mental health who is on the enchanted part of pip, who's had endless therapies, yet nothing works, so how do they assume the disabled will fit into work, are they completely crazy.
Has anyone else heard about the workwell project0 -

I also put together a guide in the UC section which you and everyone else can read, it's a sticky at the top of that section. That guide includes information for those claiming ESA.

Can anyone tell me as I'm hearing different stories regarding the migration. I was told if you get housing and esa on its on without tax credits we won't be sent the letters but by 2028 we will. People who get esa and housing and who get tax credits will be migrated to uc anytime now the letters will be sent out. So I am slightly confused as to what is correct and what's not. Also People in the support group in esa will not be assessed. Can anyone advise

At the moment migration for those claiming ESA will be from Sept 2024 up until end of 2025. If in the Support Group you will be entitled to the LCWRA element of UC from the start of your claim. You will not need another assessment when you migrate across.

Thanks poppy also if you can clarify because I don't claim tax credits will I still need to migrate to uc or will it be by 2028. Sorry if I sound about thick but I really get confused easily.

My advice is correct, between Sept 2024 and Dec 2025.

Hello can anyone advise.my pip is until 2026 so say if they decide before that what with the new reforms coming into place or supposedly, that they say we are no longer entitled, will mine still carry on til 2026 or will it just stop altogether. And what about the buss pass they have just given me a new one as old one ran out for 3 years. So what's that all about. Sorry but I am so confused as to what to believe or even think. Please advise anyone

No-one knows yet. Nothing has been decided. So no one can tell you what will or won't happen right now.
My personal opinion is that the award end date for PIP will no longer apply if PIP changes are made. When DLA changed to PIP, people on 'lifetime' DLA awards lost those and were not automatically entitled to PIP. So I don't see why another PIP change would be any different to that.
But I must stress again that absolutely no-one knows what will or won't happen with PIP right now. Anything you read on that subject is just someone's opinion, not fact.
