I'm assuming your ESA has stopped because the DWP has said you failed the work capability assessment so if it's for a different reason this advice may not apply.

You can make a new claim to ESA if you have a new condition or if your previous condition has significantly worsened/deteriorated. If the DWP accept you have a new condition or that your previous condition has significantly worsened/deteriorated then your claim will start from the beginning of the 13 week assessment period during which you will be sent an ESA50 questionnaire thus beginning the work capability assessment.  This is a problematic area particularly if you are saying there has been a significant worsening or deterioration of your condition and it may be an idea to seek further advice on this point if you are not sure.

Depending on your circumstances and where you live you may be directed to claim universal credit instead, you can find out by putting your postcode in here

You could also request a mandatory reconsideration. There is some good information about how to do that here and here. You have one month from the date of the decision to request a mandatory reconsideration.
