hi would the one of payment be yearly like the USA? They seem to compare pip with other countries in their questions.. they give us 9500 just shy top rate atm.. the House of Commons stated pip needs to rise- do you think they would offer us 10k every Jan or April for the year??

^No. I think Rishi Sunak has realised his days are numbered as PM,which is why he has done this.

    Nothing to do with PIP.

I've said before but comparing with other countries is not helpful anyway because costs of living, level of public services, and taxation to name a few of probably 100 things are totally different

Using your example they may pay more in the USA knowing that disabled people have to fund their own healthcare … then again they may pay less because taxes are far lower in the USA so people are expected to save more of their income rather than relying on public services

There's like 10,000 different reasons so the only country we can really compare with is ourselves

once the ‘wash up’ has completed (see the ‘general election’ scope thread) whoever wins the election practically gets a clean slate on parliamentary bills if they so chose

Yes the tories are going to try and make an example of the disabled in the run up to the election but they can’t do squat till after July 4th 2024

I advise the disabled community to try and relax over June (and if any candidates knock on your door take the opportunity to challenge them even if you intend to vote for them - don’t make your vote look easy, make party representatives work for it)
