Having a friend of my mom's give me a great compliment on a dress of mine. This was at church. She has known me since I was born and sees me happy as a fulltime crossdresser.I am good friends with a daughter of hers that has autism that also has a good normal life.

That's nice of her @HaileyDanielle, always feels good to be complimented! 😊

It is and she knows I have good taste in clothing and shoes.

Okay thanks @Ada,we went to the garden centre earlier and bought some compost and plants.
I was a bit miffed because someone beat me to the rosebush I had my eye on,I might have to find out where they live…….

Ha ha @Ada that's funny, we are having a BBQ now, I hope you have a nice evening as well
@Teigr someone did that to my Mum in Tesco the other day, we were working out whether it was cheaper to pay full price for a bulk pack of 100 washing powder capsules, or buy several smaller packs which were on offer, but by the time I'd done the maths someone had made our choice for us by taking the last one anyway

it's been raining on and off here all day time to chill now @ada

I did buy a rosebush @66Mustang ,it's very pretty but not as unusual as the one I wanted.
2 -
yes a nice chilled day today @Rosie_Scope . Has anyone had any thunderstorms this evening? I have before dinner.

@talis Yeah I understand that, we have an elderly family member who is not herself anymore and she can be, for want of a better phrase, an extremely unpleasant and cantankerous old witch at times … but we will miss her when she's gone and try to make the best of the odd glimpse when she is civil and nice with us
I think it's important to try to make the most of her while you still have her, even if she is horrid to you at times, if that makes sense
Sorry if that's giving my opinion when it's not welcome but just my own experience 😊

Good evening everyone
We had a chilled day today. I went to Home Bargains where I usually buy the big boxes of Yorkshire tea and there wasn't any at all. I took a big bag of Tetley as we drink so much tea I hate to run out.
@talis I react that way too down to nerves and anxiety. Be gentle with yourself and I hope your mum reflects and realises its not a competition for your time.
@lou67 well done to your son and daughter that's a great achievement 👏
@ada great to have you on board again.
Has anyone any suggestions for series to watch?

@talis do you mean private message on here? You are welcome to PM me any time!! I am going off soon so sorry if I don't reply today. I hope you're OK though??
@Marydoll5 I know the bags you mean, my brother is a physical worker and he brought a big bag of it in to work to stock up, it was like 500 or 1000 tea bags. He was very popular for a while 🤣 what kind of genre series do you like watching so we can suggest something??
2 -
I like suspense thrillers, serial killers, game of thrones ....series 2 of house of dragons is in a few week. Its a bit dark lol when I read it but I'm open to anything
1 -
Oh @Marydoll5 sorry I don't know anything about those, I'm most into "lighter" stuff 😆 but have you watched Line of Duty?? I heard that's good … my Dad used to be a DC and has worked with a few coppers who went on to be convicted of corruption and he said it was well done, he usually says police shows are rubbish and unrealistic!!

it was my birthday today. The staff at the nursing home where I live, spoilt me with presents and sang Happy birthday to me. After a nice pork Sunday dinner, I went to my aunt's house and had a picky tea. My birthday cake was a chocolate one and when I went home, the cook had made me a birthday cake. I had some cake, then chilled out in my room.
I have had a lovely day!
