Spare money each month
Good afternoon
Most months we have money left over from my wages, our UC and my partners PIP and very small pension, my question is we have just found out we like cruising, is there anything in the rules to say i can not use the money we have left each to pay off future cruises we have booked, whatever we have left i normally just pay a bit off from one of the cruises we have booked.
Thank you for you time
Sean

Hi @Mrevertonone, the money is yours to spend. There are no rules saying you can't spend it on things like holidays.

the fact that you are earning a wage getting a pension and pip with a top up of uc you do what you like with it and enjoy yourself while you can

It makes no difference where your income comes from, you can still do what you want with your money. This includes going on holiday.
You just need to be aware that when claiming UC you can only go out of the country for up to 1 month.

Cruises aren't for me, but if it's what you enjoy then go ahead and enjoy them!
