Tons of cardboard @Sandy_123 and we filled four bin bags with polystyrene.
It took an hour and a half to unpack the dresser.

Morning everyone, hope you all had a good nights rest.
I'm struggling to eat again, I'm starving but everytime I eat I either throw it back up or just don't feel like eating even though I'm hungry. I woke up really hungry so had a yogurt but just been sick again.
@Beaver79 goodluck at the dentists this morning.
@Teigr Hope the doctors appointment goes well and your husband gets the all clear.
@Sandy_123 enjoy your coffee in the next town over.
@Lou67 Hope you have a good day and manage to make it to your mums.

Just wanted to let people know if they don’t already, Nicebrit reminded me talking about uniform. I was in Asda yesterday and was picking up school shoes for 2 off my granddaughters I couldn’t find one off their sizes.
So while I was there I looked online the prices were cheaper 🤷♀️ a size 11 in store was £14 and a size 12 was £15. Online the 11 was £10 and the 12 was £12. I couldn’t believe it so asked at customer service why this was she told me online is always cheaper I would never have known this so saved myself £7.
I just wanted to share this in the hope it’ll help someone.@66Mustang
Morning I hope your doing good.@Sandy_123
Aww sounds like a good day enjoy.@Nicebrit
That’s great you got the your granddaughters uniform in. Hope you can have a wee snooze.❤️

Morning all!
I don't have time to respond to everything I saw that I wanted to respond to, but @rubin16 I know how you feel. I hope it passes soon. I've had those moments where I'm starving but I just can't bring myself to eat because of the pain it would bring digesting it. Are the IBD team seeing if there's anything else they can do?

I notice the exact same stuff online is often cheaper and I don't understand it. I'm not talking about a different company either, but the same company, they jus charge less if you buy it online instead of using their shop
They often have to pay to send it out as well because they offer free delivery or don't charge the full amount, so surely it costs them more
Maybe someone knows why companies do this, there might be a reason why it's better for them, like it costs them less in tax or something?

@Teigr
Oh that’s rubbish his appointment has been cancelled such a shame as he’d have been hoping to get the all clear.@rubin16
Thank you, I’m so sorry your feeling unable to eat you should definitely contact your doctor. I hood you have a nice visit with your nan and your dad.@Katiedimelow20
Hi lovely to meet you I hope you enjoy the forum and I hope things settle down with your mum.@Jimm_Scope

@66Mustang
Yes this was also Asda online I just couldn’t believe it maybe that's the way a lot off shops are but it doesn’t make sense to me, as you say they have to ship them to either your home or in store.
To me it makes more sense to offer incentives for people to go into the shop. It makes you wonder are there goi g ti be any bug shops in the future. 🤦♀️It would definitely be good to find out the reason behind it, I asked for their head office number as I was so annoyed, I might just phone and put a complaint in.
Sorry rant over 😂@Beaver79
Glad your all sorted now fingers crossed thsts you for 6 months.❤️

When I was a teenager I thought it would be "hilarious" to complain to Sainsbury's that I bought 2 bars of "Taste the Difference" chocolate and they tasted the same
They gave me a £5 voucher to say sorry!!!!

When it comes to Amazon a lot of the tax gets… "transferred" to a place that charges less tax such as Luxembourg or Ireland. Also they can buy it in far more bulk which is cheaper.
I've been actively trying to shop local, and when I say local I mean independent stores, as much as possible. While it's a bit more expensive, I did a lot of thinking. And who would I rather the profits go to? A local business run by someone in the town or at least the county, who actually works in the shop. Or a large corporation, where the profits go to a shareholder somewhere halfway around the globe? It was a pretty easy question for me to answer.@Teigr Maybe he should reward himself when he can drive again with a nice drive to a lovely scenic point or scenic road?
@Beaver79 I hope your dentist appointment has gone well!
