You’ll have a season ticket for the dentist lol
Oh yes I will then it really annoyed me yesterday. I was just thinking about people that can’t or don’t use the online they are paying much more in store.@66Mustang
Aww brilliant 😂1 -
@Jimm_Scope & @Sandy_123 I've not spoke to the IBD team for a few weeks still waiting on this medication to be put on. I'm going to see how things are today and tomorrow and if still not able to eat will reach out to my GP.

Amazon has an obvious advantage but what I was asking is like why would the same shop charge less if you buy online?
Like a Tesco shop and Tesco website
Surely they draw on the same stock, and they combine their buying power when buying in bulk??

Very happy with it thanks @Lou67 ,although it's a bit smaller than the old one.
Big enough for all my junk though.
He'll be rewarding himself with a drive to the tip @Jimm_Scope ,not the most scenic of spots but he might see some sheep en route.

I wonder if that would work with gin @66Mustang ?

Dont leave it too long @rubin16 the GP may chase the meds up
That happened to me in Dorothy perkings @lou67 saw some boots on line went in to buy them and they were more expensive the assistance said we can't compete with on line prices . So I ordered them on line

There I think it could be to do with where you live? I know when I lived in Scotland things in shops would be cheaper than in the same shop in the South East/London. (The example that sticks in my head was Greggs sausage rolls were 80p in Glasgow but £1 in Hertfordshire).
Online has to keep the price the same across the country, so that might make it cheaper or more expensive depending on where you live. There is also a LOT of analysis that goes into these prices. They'll have a "best price" for profit, and that may be different in the shop and online.

Maybe that's the case, I guess they are relying on people being lazy or just unaware
Like you I prefer to buy local or from "nice" shops. However, this is off topic but what gets me more is when a posh shop charges more for a branded product that you could get anywhere
I enjoy nice things and I am always up for paying more for quality or for an item that isn't available elsewhere, I'm not a miser…but when a smart shop or boutique store charges double for a generic branded product like Marmite that you could get in the supermarket I think it's kind of arrogant if that makes sense??

@Teigr
As long as there’s room to hide all your stuff away lol@Jimm_Scope
I get it’s all about profit but there was a big difference and I just think these big stores are getting worse with customer service, I was spoken to as if I was stupid. I know it’ll probably get me nowhere but I will phone the head office later even if it’s just due my own satisfaction.I’m away to my mums now while the rains off cstch yous later. ❤️

Terrible weather.. gloomy sky and drizzling and windy. 15 degrees but feels colder.. I hope we will get some sunny days. But please not too hot . Below 25 degrees is fine.. it does not help my mental state.

The sun's being all shy now, it's hiding behind the clouds, just occasionally peeking out to say hi.
How's everyone's day going anyway? Anyone up to anything extra exciting this afternoon?0 -
@Albus_Scope we just had a milkman knock on the door so we signed up to get milk from him
I like organic and "nice" food and stuff and it's better for the environment and the animals as well which is a bonus 🙂

Oooooh, I'm a bit jealous @66Mustang I do miss the old milk deliveries. Loads better for everyone!
Well, as long as they don't leave the milk on the doorstep in the baking sun. 😆1 -
@Albus_Scope hopefully they have innovated when it comes to the lids as well, as I think we feed enough birds already 😛

I'm jealous too, I would love a proper milkman to deliver milk here. Its one of those things I saw all the time when I was a kid, but seems to no longer be a thing anymore where I am.

Does anyone know if we have passed the last date now to return our postal votes?
I feel a bit guilty for wasting resources and towards the people who got me the right to have a vote, but I just honestly didn't know who to vote for, or if any of them were worth spending the ink in my pen anyway 😆
I don't like voting for the sake of it because I don't believe in having an opinion without having the necessarily knowledge and information to base that opinion on; even though I am well aware that a large chunk (perhaps the majority) of the population do exactly that

Mr Teigr had a call from the hospital while I was working in the garden, they told him that he'll need a note from his GP before he can go back to work but it's okay for him to start driving again.
