@poppy123456 what should I say to them? Just explain everything and what the letter says and ask them if they’ll be back paying me from August?

Just tell them the letter said they may owe you some money and the award is from Aug 2023. Then ask when you will receive what is owed.

so after waiting over an hour to speak to someone I finally got through explained everything and they’ve said they can’t tell me as they don’t know. They know I’ll be getting the £549 that’s stated on the letter but don’t have an idea if I’ll be paid back pay from August 2023. Just been told to wait and see if I get a letter about whether they owe me more money. They know nothing and I’m assuming they’re saying the same to everyone because I’ve been seeing all over Facebook people asking the same as me whether they’ll be back paid from the dates their letters say

It’s not unusual for them take a while to pay what is owed when it’s a review. All you can do now is wait. You will receive what is owed because it was backdated.
