Rec’d txt pip review

hi all
I received a txt this morning that my pip review has started, last time I had to go to tribunal to get it and was a horrible experience, I only get the lower rate as is but it all helps, now I have the worry again of trying to get it again
Should I enclose my asd referral letter as more evidence or will it not make much difference

Make sure you treat it as a new claim, this is even more important because your current award was made by a Tribunal. Please do not just write no changes and nothing else.
I'd also advise you to include a copy of the decision letter from the Tribunal, hopefully you kept a copy of that. You can include the referral letter for ASD but I don't know how much (if any) help that would be.
Please also make sure you include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
If you need extra time to return the form you can ring PIP and they will extend it by 14 days. Review decision are taking an extremely long time and some members are still waiting a year after returning the form. Your current PIP award will continue until a decision is made on your review.

Thank you @poppy123456 great advice as always
I think I kept the tribunal decision letter that I can include, but won’t they have it on their system that tribunal awarded me before ?

You’re welcome. DWP will but the health assessment providers may not. Not only that, we shouldn’t assume they will have something. Always be prepared and send any relevant information you have. The Tribunal decision is definitely relevant.

considering I received the txt a week ago I still not had my form

I'm sure the text advises up to about 2 weeks for the form, at least that's what mine said last year. It took about 10 days to receive mine.

thanks again poppy, I deleted the txt after I read it so weren’t sure if it said 2 weeks

form received and each question asks if condition has changed and if so when, I have treated it as a new form but I don’t know dates so left these out as they don’t give much space in each box

You can add things on separate sheets of paper if needed @apples just make sure you add your NI number to each page. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

since ive received this review form, I’ve had a txt telling me they’ve sent the form and it needs to be returned by X date, today I received a letter stating the same
Is it normal to receive all these reminders ? If there’s a backlog why rush me

I don’t recall receiving those texts you’ve mentioned. I just got several telling me they still had my form and would be processing review as soon as they could. I wouldn’t worry about the texts you’ve received though.

I had txt saying they recieved my form

Yup, that’s completely normal, I received them too. Although the backlogs are long the form still needs to be returned. You can ask for extra time and they will give 2 more weeks.
