No, unfortunately there's no extra money because of your PIP award. You can report your health condition, provided by a fit note and go through the work capability assessment. If found to have LCWRA then you'll be entitled to extra money from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note. You must continue with the fit notes without any gaps until a decision is made on your claim.
If found to have LCWRA then the same person can't receive carers element at the same time so that would stop and you will receive the LCWRA element instead.
A PIP award doesn't automatically entitle you to LCWRA.

Hi @poppy123456 i was under the understanding that there is an element called disability premium for disabled people claiming UC. An extra amount of over £400 a month, can you confirm that is the case please. Thanks.

It’s not a disability premium. It’s the LCWRA element which is £416.19/month. A PIP award doesn’t automatically entitle you to this. For this you will need to do as I advised above.

Hi poppy …. it's just i came across this, and it suggests if you get a enhanced disability premium within a month before the first day of your UC claim ( i presume they are referring to enhanced PIP outside of your previous legacy benefit ) that you can get extra in your transitional payment.
Your thoughts on this please.?

That's referring to disability premiums in legacy benefits such as Income Related ESA/JSA and Income Support. It doesn't apply to you.
As I advised a couple of times your PIP award doesn't automatically entitle you to LCWRA or any other UC elements.
Please see my other comments about reporting your health conditions and providing a fit note.

@poppy123456 Hi Poppy …. yes i understand now, it's about the 3 part disability premiums with legacy benefits. SDP, enhanced disability premium, and disability premium.
Only one, severe disability premium offers transitional protection when carried forward to UC although it doesn't exist in UC itself.
I claim carers allowance for my with so she gets enhanced disability premium, only those not claiming carers allowance can have the higher SDP in their legacy benefits.
Thanks again for your time.
