Very Very Very Long PIP Assessment. I did a really good Assessment reply. Too Good?
I looked at the "increasing the automatic extension period" thread and people are talking up to several months, but I got my PIP reAssessment last August. I got the maximum extension and returned it in October. As usual I spent +80% of waking hours for the two months trying to do my PIP. I found a webpage that typed what you said and copied and pasted it all out. I'm worried I did such a good job they are rethinking my fit for work case 😕. It would literally work out I did something like two sentences a day working at it all day! It's all mental health related, nothing physical, and nothing has changed.
I don't answer the phone so if they have rung to give me an assessment I don't know (do they do that or send a letter first?). I've been in the system for a long time so I'm hoping they are treating me as a 'known' but because I complained in my Form about previous face to face assessments (like "eventually" eating, and having to do maths using my fingers and saying I couldn't do that in real life in a shop) that maybe this is a reason for the long long delay?
I live by myself and don't have friends and don't keep track of things, so the whole system is unknown to me. Might be a simple or complex explanation. Anybody advise?

I'm also worried labour might put an immigrant in the spare bedroom! I'd end up in hospital.

There are extremely long delays for review decisions and some are waiting a year, sometimes longer. Your current award will continue until a decision is made on the review.
You can’t be found fit for work with PIP because it’s not about your ability to work.

Thank You Poppy. For telephone assessments do they write a letter giving you an appointment? If so how long a warning do you get? My PIP assessment hangs over my head even when it's not a thing. This is really taunting me.
