PIP Review
Good afternoon everyone
My PIP award expires at the end of October 2024, I was sent the review form back in December 2023 and sent it back by the date requested and by RM special delivery so I know the DWP have it. I still haven't received any word on a decision, it's been almost 8 months!
Any advice please?

It’s perfectly normal. I’ve just had my review completed. It took a few weeks short of a year, there are very big back logs.

Thank you! 👍🏻

Heya @ApocalypseRogue, there are some large backlogs as Noidea mentions. So reviews are taking quite some time to be assessed. You'll keep receiving your reward until the review is complete of course!
How are you feeling about the review?

Hi Jimm_Scope,
I find the whole process to be extremely stressful, like I'm always having to "prove" I'm disabled.
I've just had a UC assessment too as we migrated over from TC. This was carried out very quickly! I never filled out a UC50 or had a video call, just a quick 30 min call. I was put in LCW, asked for a MR, done in 24hrs DWP never asked for my medical evidence just said "I've carried out your MR and revised your award" put me in LCWRA! Thankfully!
The whole system is broken!

I returned my review form in November 2023. My award was extended for up to 1 year in June and I'm still waiting for a decision. I've received a few texts updates in the meantime but most of them have said the same thing.

Just a waiting game isn't it.....

Unfortunately, yes. I know it's frustrating for everyone that's waiting.
