Universal credit help and advice.
My partner was on my claim and we recently split up. I have informed UC of the change. She was on my claim and was my carer. I am due to be paid this Friday. But on the uc website it says I'll be due to be paid around the 19th and wouldn't show My next payments I am over 25. Two kids under 5. I have informed them she doesn't care for me anymore. What happens now in regards to payment. I was also on limited capability for work. What would the rates be.
Thanks

Your entitlement to UC is based on your circumstances on the last day of each assessment period. What date exactly did you report the changes?
If it was after the last day of your assessment period then your payment on Friday will be as it always is and will be paid into the bank account it’s always paid into.

Hi poppy, reported the change last night as it happened.

Thank you. Then your payment this week will be as normal and paid into the usual bank account. If your name isn’t on that bank account you will need to speak to your wife to give you your share of the payment.
Your next payment will be for a single person claim.
