I'm not much of a sandwich person since I developed Crohns. But, I do love a crisp sandwich. Cheese and onion crisps preferable.

Just reminds me of my childhood

I'm a cheese addict - I can eat any sort of cheese (particularly mature cheddar) until it comes out of my ears - so Cheese is a must in my sandwiches.

My favourite sandwich since childhood has always been dairylea with cucumber. Egg mayonnaise and cress another favourite.

You can't beat a ploughman's sandwich although I prefer it on a crusty roll or a baguette 🥖

    Branston Pickle a must.

    Or

A toasted sandwich with cheese and baked beans.

Made in a proper toastie machine.

    Yummy 😋

I agree - I am a cheese addict - I just can't get enough of the stuff - cheddar particularly - not too strong but it needs some flavour

Oh I agree, and I love a strong cheddar, Cheshire.... And I don't mind the specialty cheese with the chilli mixed through.

To be honest cheese definitely in most types - except stilton or any of those similar.... Unless they are cooked love stilton brocolli soup. Just not raw 🤮

I love chicken and bacon on my butties (I'm from Warrington, Cheshire and we call them butties and not sandwiches 😛). I also like cheese spread like diarylea and Primula. I also like grated cheese too.

I know this isn't a sandwich, but on the odd occasion when we get a meal deal from our local Morrisons Daily, I have a chicken and bacon butty, a bottle of Dr Pepper or Cherry cola and a cathedral city cheese sticks with branston pickle. I think it was my best friend who got me liking branston pickle.

I have several favourite butties (I'm from down South & call them that too) a smoked bacon butty, no sauce, just bacon. Also, a BLT. Two I love but can't have now, as others have said, a crisp butty, just plain crisps but with Branston Fruity sauce & a good ol' chip butty with tommy sauce.

Thankfully, the first two I can still have as a treat now some places sell low carb bread. One thing I really missed was the simplicity of a butty.

I'm also in the cheese and branston in a big baguette team.

Though I do love a big sarnie with lots of deli meats and sliced pickles.
