As advised on your other thread, your first payment will be on 18th September, this will cover the period from 12th August to 11th Sept. You are not owed any LCWRA element.

You will need to check your statement this month to make sure it's included. However, as it's close to the end of your assessment period there may not be enough of time to include it. If this happens they will owe you for this month.

If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn't previously have the work allowance, you will be owed some money from that. If anything is owed it will be paid as a separate payment.

    hi

Will I still have to send in sick notes or anything to the Lcwra to keep letting them know I cannot work in the future or will they assess me every year?
    thanks

Now you have been awarded LCWRA you no longer need to send in Fit Notes. The award is indefinite and on going.

You will be re assessed in future, no one can tell you when unfortunately.

Re assessments have been suspended for a long time so there will be significant backlogs when they resume.

    Hi,

Sorry to come through your own post, I’m new to this and still trying to figure out what I’m doing, but could I be possibly ask a question myself, my partner who is currently struggling quite awfully with mental health and suicidal thoughts has just been awarded LCWRA, she first started sending proof of not being able to work back in May, so we’re just a bit confused about this three months thing, if you could shed any light it would be greatly appreciated.. and again, I’m so sorry to come through your own post.

    Thanks

    hi

I think if you’reim waiting myself to see getting sick then you won’t have any backdate.

    Hi,

It depends on the exact dates of your partners assessment periods and the date that they put the first fit note in.

As a rough guide, it should be 3 full assessment periods without LCWRA, so that could be May/June, June/July, July/August.

Then LCWRA will be added to the 4th payment period - which could be August/September. Then the actual payment will be in the bank around a week after the end of that period, so it's likely to be paid towards the end of September in this example.

It is possible that it may not be paid for another month depending on the exact dates mentioned above though. I hope that makes sense. 🙂

Hi @mum12. I'm so sorry your employer is letting you go. How are you feeling about it? I'd recommend using a Benefits Calculator to work out how much you're entitled to.
