It was nice, it was in the USA. The weather was very nice there, sunny and 25 degrees… Except the day of the wedding! There was a downpour.
It was actually the first Jewish wedding I've been to so it was really quite interesting. On a whole it's not too different from a christian-style wedding. The fun part was getting the hora, where they put the bride and groom up on the chairs. 😄
Hey @Amberpearl, I'm glad to hear your granddaughter is doing okay. Sounds like you'll have extra to celebrate this Christmas though!
@Venus_Cee I might try something like that in my air fryer… How was cleaning it though? Not too bad?

@Jimm_Scope Welcome back! I don't know what it was like cleaning cos we have one of those oven air fryers….and hubby made the cheese toastie for me 😁 It's my birthday today so I was supposed to spend it relaxing, pampered and being lazy. But instead, I've cleaned the house from top to bottom, then been out in the garden cleaning the patio and sweeping, weeding, picking leaves up etc. Just waiting for a friend popping in for tea and cake, then I get to settle down to curry made by the other 'arf and a movie. Not sure what we're watching yet tho, haven't picked one out…
@Amberpearl Hope your Granddaughter recovers soon. We worry about them as much as we worry about our kids, if not moreso <3

@Sandy_123 we ended up having corned beef pasties. It's belting hot here in South Shields. But we have a tidy garden ready for the Grandkids coming at the weekend 😀

Oh south shields I have Alot of ancestors from there and my parents were from there too. The pasties sound nice

Next door's cat is the only one who's had any use out of our garden furniture this year.
I don't know where she's going to get comfortable when we put it away.

Gods, been a long while since I've been to South Shields. I grew up in Sunderland 😊 Hope you have a lovely birthday, even if you have spent a lot of it so far cleaning! Sounds like you have a nice evening ahead of you though.
@Sandy_123 One of our neighbours cats LOVES our garden. He's always sunbathing in it. He used to be terrified of us, apparently the previous people who lived here had a dog that would chase him. So anytime the backdoor opened he'd run. We eventually got him to trust us though and now he rolls around want headpats when we're outside. I'll try to get a picture of him next time I see him.

Thankyou all for the birthday wishes. Was a really nice day! We watched 'Grown Ups'. I'd never seen that before. It was okay but not great.
I decided to try putting makeup on this evening. I never wear it, and I forgot, I'm allergic to most makeup products. I also tried to put false eyelashes on. What a disaster! I got the eyelash stuck in my eye with the glue on it (completely missed the top of my eyelashes and stuffed it straight underneath…on my eyeball) so I freaked out and ran down to the bathroom to get it off. Took about an hour and a half (eight seconds lol) to get it off. My eyelids were glued together and I started panicking. Finally stuffed my face under the tap and washed the glue off. So I'm now sitting here with first degree burns on my face off the chemicals, and blood shot eyes 🤣 This happened last time I tried to wear makeup - about twenty years ago. I might learn a lesson from this but I doubt it 😝
