Crikey @Albus_Scope that was a long walk.
It's not just walking round town it's walking around the shops on top.

I'd take the cakes any day @Teigr but I expect mine wouldn't look as great as yours.
Yup, it wasnt the most fun and it's taking days to recover from it, but I can still work, so all good! Did you at least get anything nice on your trip?0 -
I've got someone coming round to give me a price for a new front door today, that should be quite amusing.

Hey there @Grinchy it's good to hear from you. 😊
I'm so glad you've finally got to start the counselling finally, be extra gentle with yourself as it can really mix things up in the old brain.

Morning,
My sleep was the usual - very disturbed, but the body/soul is used to it now.
Last night I booked to go to see a former rugby team mate in Barbados 9 - 16 January 2025, which will break up the winter. And, it poignantly coincides with the 10th anniversary of my Father's death (at the age of 72 from a very aggressive neurodegenerative disease).
Very excited about the trip and also on "countdown" for a trip to Valencia to see my best pal on 5 October for 4 nights.
Having chronic traumatic brain injury, probable early onset dementia and going through a second divorce in 5 years is enough of a trigger for me to just take the plunge, push myself through the pain barriers and do these things while I can.
Hope all have a reasonable day.

Morning everyone 😊 Rainy day here today too.
Sounds like some exciting plans in the making @AKR! Barbados will be so beautiful! January is a good time to go as well, I bet it'll be so nice to have a break from the winter weather.
