LCWRA - Success Story
Hello,
Just wanted to share that after 2 1/2 years of fighting (and an inaccurate health assessment, mandatory reconsideration and 2 tribunals..), I finally got awarded LCWRA!
This will hopefully now be backdated to 2022 when I first had the decision.
Sometimes, it really is worth pushing for what you believe you are entitled to.

Fantastic, hope you get a big lump sum.
I like stories of endurance, which yours certainly is at two and a half years. Well done for persisting. Many ND people I know have fantastic abilities of persistence, which works sometimes to their benefit, sometimes not. This is a great long-term victory for you.

That's brilliant @Autism_at_40, thanks for updating us! It's great to hear you finally got what you needed. Fingers crossed for those backdated payments π

Jury is currently out on the payments, so to speak. My council contact says the decision will be backdated, but the person who helped me with PIP said it's almost unheard of, so I will have to wait and seeβ¦.

Thank you π.
On another thing, every time I click the like button it refreshes the page and goes to the top and doesn't even like the post.. I'm finding it a tad irritating, is this something new with the new look of the site?

Yes it is and my page was refreshed when I began typing π
Please comment on Scope's Brand Refresh at the top of this page π
