Can a 16 year old work 11 hours a week and the parent still claim child benefit and tax credits
I claim , ESA , child benefit , pip , child tax credits and housing benefit. My daughter who is 16 and in full time education doing A-levels works 11 hours a week, will some of my benefits stop ?

Your benefits will not stop because she's still treated as a dependant. They will continue as normal.

No, it's not a change of circumstances that needs to be reported because they are still a dependant named on your claim.
You will soon receive your migration letter to claim UC and the same rules apply to this, you don't need to report it.

yes I have my migration letter and will be moving over soon.
When filling out the housing benefit review form do u need to show my 16 year olds bank statement or just mine . My daughter’s bank is fully in her name .also will UC credit need my child’s bank statement when I migrate over ? Thanks0 -
You will not need to provide your daughters bank statements, she's still a dependant child. Same will apply for UC.
