I love how the bills are set up, especially the prepaid electric, what is everyone thoughts?

I been reading and learning, because I make the move to this country, from america, I like how the prepaid electrics works. Really its sound like you only pay for what you use. I like that. Also how safe is a room or a flat share? just want some thoughts on it.
Cheers.

Hi @cameron_dunn2, I can't comment too much on the electric situation, but I have some experience of house sharing. I've lived in flat shares since I moved to the city a long time ago and haven't had any big horror stories. It's good to do some research before on different areas and meet the people you're sharing with before you move in if you can.
There are some set-ups where you've got a lock on your room and don't tend to meet the others in your house all that much, and then there's others that are more communal and friendly. I've only ever lived in the kind where you get to know your flatmates and hang out together. I've met some pretty cool people through it and it's saved me a good bit of money, so it's been a positive for me 😊
